School Council Treats

Our teachers were genuinely moved, and I was overwhelmed by the support while visiting with so many of you this morning. Our students are amazing—and you are a huge part of why.

"Hello Scenic Acres School Families,

The ATA teacher strike is set to begin on October 6. As per the directive of the Calgary Board of Education, all October events must be cancelled, regardless of the duration of the strike.

This pertains to the following events;

  • Swimming lessons (SAS is looking for other possible dates)
  • October's School Council Meeting
  • October's Healthy Hunger Fun Lunch (to be moved to November)
  • The Halloween Dance

We hope to offer an alternative to the Halloween dance later in the school year if possible.

Thank you to those who had volunteered their time for these events and for your ongoing support of the SAS council. We have such a wonderful school community!
